Joseph, author of Mastering the Art of Entertaining, is teaching a hands-on floral class at Hostess. Not the tight, symmetrical kind — the loose garden arrangements you see on French tables, where things lean and spill and look like someone gathered them that morning. You’ll learn to source the way the French do, from your own yard and what’s growing around you, and build your own arrangement alongside him to take home in the vessel it’s made in, to keep or to give away. What you’ll really leave with is the eye for it, so you can do it again for your own table at your next dinner party or over the holidays.

Everything is provided: vessel, flowers, tools, plus wine and nibbles while you work.
